Julian 'Jay' Fisher

1974 - 2004

 

Jay was an integral part of our Canton. He is sorely missed.

 

"Darlington - Julian Robert "Jay" Fisher, 30, of 2212 Boyd St, Darlington, died early Wednesday morning, August 18, 2004, in a Columbia hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident in Sumter County.

Mr. Fisher was born in Florence a son of Bobby Joe Fisher and the late Gloria Nell Morris Fisher. He was a member of the DeMolay and the Society for Creative Anachronism Inc.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Nell Fisher; by a sister, Rebecca Ashley Fisher; by his maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Lerion Morris; by his paternal grandfather; Frank E. Fisher.

Surviving are his father, Bobby Joe Fisher of Darlington; stepmother, Judy Melton Fisher of Darlington; stepsister, Debra Melton Haynes of Darlington; stepbrother, Frankie Melton of Florence; paternal grandmother, Ina Pearl Fisher of Hemingway; an aunt and uncle, Sara and Steven Dunn of Ehrdhardt; two nephews and a niece."
